Which one is the first season of the TV show Spartacus? Blood and Sand or Gods of the Arena?

I just watched the show Spartacus DVD. But I don’t know which one I should start first. Does anyone tell me which one is the first sesason of the show? Blood and Sand or Gods of the Arena?

A4: Actually the first season of Spartacus is Blood and Sand but Gods Of The Arena was a prequel miniseries to Blood and Sand, the beginning of Part I and the end of Part VI spoil the ending of BaS. So I think you should watch the show Gods of the Arena frist.
